Meet our team
EchelonUSA was formed by a team of Latino American leaders, professionals and university students from across the United States.
Lee Vigil is the founder of Echelon University Students Association. In August 2015, EchelonUSA established its pilot program in Houston, TX, with one staff member, 10 students, and one professional mentor.
Lee began his ministry in the Archdiocese of Denver's Cursillo Movement Secretariat as Lay Director.
After serving with FOCUS, the Fellowship of Catholic University Students, as a missionary on university campuses for five years, Lee began serving as Director of Student Evangelization at the University of St. Thomas.
Lee serves on Cardinal DiNardo's Commission on Ecumenical and Inter-religious Affairs Commission, Vice President of Serra Club of Houston, member of Governor's Council of Serra Club District 10, is Advisor and Member of Knights of Columbus Council 13940, and is a member of the Catholic Association of Latino Leaders. Lee and wife, Paula, live in Houston, TX with their seven young children.
